MILLER TELEPHONE COMPANY

The Miller Telephone Company (MTC) is pleased to announce that the USDA Rural Utilities Service (RUS) recently approved an $8.425 million dollar loan to replace MTC’s existing 220 miles of copper cable with fiber optic cable.  The upgraded facilities will provide fiber optic service to the homes and businesses of all customers served by MTC.

The technologically advanced fiber optic cable system will provide MTC customers with superior quality voice services and high speed access to the Internet.  MTC anticipates offering Internet speeds that will meet the diverse needs of business and residence applications.

MTC is excited about the promise this project offers for the future of Miller and looks forward to meeting the challenges that lay ahead.  The fiber optic project is a major undertaking and MTC is currently working through the process as quickly as possible so the project can start and be completed at the earliest possible date.

As the project moves forward we will provide updates on our website at www.millertel.net.
