About Miller Telephone Co.
In 1900 W. C. Hill and his brothers organized the Hill Telephone System in Miller. Around the same time, C. V. Williams organized the Farmer’s Telephone Exchange. Switchboards were installed and telephone lines were built in all directions, connecting the community of Miller.
In 1920, the Farmer’s system sold out to the W. C. Hill family who continued to manage the telephone system until 1930 when they sold to L. G. Isaacs. Mr. Isaacs sold out to R. D. Shoemaker a year or so later and he renamed it the Community Telephone Company.

Their phone number is 452-3499. Their hours are Monday – Friday 12pm – 4pm. First Saturday of the month they are open from 10am – 2pm. Food Pantry phone number is 452-2694. They are open every second Tuesday and Wednesday of every month. Tuesday they are open from 12pm – 3pm. Wednesday they are open from 12pm – 1:30pm.
Miller United States Post Office
They are open Monday through Friday from 9:30am – 4pm. They are closed for lunch from 1pm – 1:30pm. Open on Saturdays from 11:30am – 12:30pm.
